Why crazy? He's manipulating the card somehow, I'm merely making suggestions. Heat sensitive material is one of the easiest and subtle ways of making a surface change. Magicians ALWAYS have a reason for doing what they do. While he's shaking the card around, you can bet he's either doing something with that card, or distracting you from something else he's doing...like doing something with whatever is in his other hand.

One guess is that it's a heat sensitive material, which would explain why he keeps his finger on the same corner the whole time. Maybe the shaking is mixing a chemical inside? Also notice that when he flips the card, he watches somewhat closely...perhaps something on his finger that he removes from the card? Another theory is, notice he's holding something in his left hand, always suspicious when doing magic. Of course these are mere points of interest, not an actual explaination or answer
